Suction panel
 
The Suction panel is designed tfor the purpose to be able to monitor and control the suction of the four suction piles on each template foundation structure.

A hose from a suction pump will be connected by ROV into a suction stab recceptable on the suction panel front plate. The suction stab receptable is again connected to all four suction piles through piping. ROV operated ball valves are installed between each suction pile and the suction stab receptable.

After connecting the suction hose, the ROV can open or close each valve, to control which of the suction piles are affected. Each of the 4 manometers on the ROV panel (Located on the suction panel front plate) will be connected to the hard piping going to each suction pile. Hence they will show the pressure in each suction pile. This way the ROV can control the operation of sucking down the template on the sea bottom
